We offer guided food tours of Mauritius to discover the island’s rich history, diverse culture and authentic places – all through local Mauritian food and drinks.

There are many things to do in Mauritius, but to truly know Mauritius, you must taste Mauritius. With Taste Buddies experience the region, its culture and its lifestyle through your taste buds.

Mauritius is a melting pot of cultures, and the local food reflects this ethnic diversity. Indian curries, Creole “rougailles”, Muslim biryanis, Chinese “boulettes” and French baguettes are proof of the culinary dynamics present on the island.


Description des missions:

  • Creating and implementing digital marketing strategies including social media strategies, and SEO strategies for the website and blog
  • Working with our service-providers to create content for website, social media platforms and blog
  • Performing market research for current trends in the tourism industry and identifying opportunities for growth & development
  • Seeking potential partnerships with members of the tourism industry
  • Identifying and creating new itineraries for food tours (go on location, meet potential food vendors, taste the food, learn the culture and history)
  • Finding solutions to operational and strategic problems to help the business be more efficient
  • Be involved in the development of the business as a whole


Formations, compétences et expériences:

  • Bilingual (Excellent proficiency in French and English; both written and spoken)
  • Have a passion for travel, cultures, history and food
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Interest in business
  • Creative and curious
  • A driving license is a bonus
